Birthday Tags

Hello crafty friends, like Mel yesterday I have done one more post before the new month begins. Today I want to show you some tags I have made for my DT post at Scrapbookit, again beautiful Graphic 45 papers. This time they are from the Bird Song Collection.

I used 2 sheets of the patterned paper so I could cute out each of the ladies and raze them up on top of themselves. I think it has really made them stand out and look beautiful.
I will show you the cards and in the middle of them I will give you a list of what I used. Between all 4 cards there are only a couple of different products and they are all noticeable.

Graphic 45 patterned papers - Song Bird
Brown Card stock
Orange Card Stock
White journal pen
Brown journal pen
Ribbon
Sizzix dies
WOW -  Happy Birthday Chippie
Glossy Accents
Copic markers (To colour chippie)

I hope you like my tags and like all tags there is plenty of room on the back to write you special message. Don't forget to hope on into the Scrapbookit Store to get a great range of card stock, patterned papers, Copic and much, much more. I love the one stop shopping without the car even leaving the yard. So until my next post, happy crafting.

Tag Cards

Welcome crafty friends to my blog and my second post for the month over at Scrapbookit. This time I have something just a little different to show you. I have a couple of tag cards and they come in a pocket. You can write all you want on the back of the tag.

 TAG CARD 1

For this first tag I have used Farm House Paper Company's - Where Ideas Take Root patterned papers and some green cardstock.

The doily is a Sizzix die and the ink I used on the edges is Distress Ink - Walnut Stain. Around the edges I used a brown journal pen for stitching. The for you letters are from Kaisercrafts Ebony - Alpha Sticker Sheet.

I think these are a great tag to attach to the outside of a gift so you can just give them like they are.

The label is a Sizzix die and I have inked the edge with Walnut Stain - Distress Ink and then journal pen stitched the edges. The Kaisercraft Mother rubon I chose with my mum in mind. The beautiful butterflies I have fussy cut from Graphic 45 patterned paper - Olde Curiosity Shoppe Collection.

 TAG CARD 2

For this thank you tag card I chose to use cardstock and the beautiful patterned papers by Graphic 45 - Time To Flourish Collection. These papers are just stunning and are great for lots of different projects including calendars.

The patterned papers I chose to use from this range were chose simply because I love purple and any shade of purple. The little flower I fussy cut from the patterned papers.

I love the design on this card which I fussy cut from the patterned papers. If you are like me and are looking for patterned papers to fussy cut from and get the most out of  you will find that with Graphic 45 patterned papers and these are a perfect example.

Again thanks for stopping over and I have you have enjoyed your stay. Until my next post take care and love to you all. xxx

Looks Like We Have Been Sent Up The Road

Welcome crafty friends to my Blog, and my first post for Scrapbookit for February. I loved this months challenge set by the beautiful Mel. It is a gorgeous mood board with plenty of scope to choose from and wow are the colors stunning or what.
For my layout I chose to use as my main colors yellow and green. The road, but in a little different way and also the color in the life square and also the word in the respect we didn't get life lol.
This is my take and the awesome paper range I got to use is the Farm House Paper Company's - Where Ideas Take Root. I created on Kaisercrafts cardstock - Sunshine and the color was awesome with the yellow of the challenge.  I loved these papers and thought they were perfect for the photo of my two sons Riley and Harley along with myself.

On the edge of the patterned papers I inked with Distress Ink - Walnut Stain. Each time I looked at the double sided patterned papers the number page just kept looking at me and  I just knew I had to do prison numbers with it. To create the word prisoner and our names I used Kaisercraft Mini Alpha Stickers. I also used then in the title along with Tickers - Meadow.
This photo was taken at the Swanhill Pioneer Settlement and the boys sure did get into the prison theme with the looks on their faces, so cute.
To makeup my tag that I wrote on I used a Paper Xtra clear stamp by Sullivans and cut it out. I then wrote on some of the patterned paper and stuck it over the top. The chevrons tied it into the prison numbers.

These Thickers letters are awesome and they were a great color for the challenge colors. I decided to use the smaller Kaiser Mini Alphas in the middle though because my title was so long.
I hope you like the layout I created
Now I would like to show you another creation I have made with the same papers.
It is a "Note" wall hanger by Kaisercraft.

To do all the edges I have used a brown Copic and it looked so good with these papers, it give them an old vintage look.
These gorgeous flowers went so well with the papers and white leaves looked good to but I used a little of the Walnut Stain - Distress Ink on the to blend them in a little with the inking of the paper edges using the same ink. The butterflies I punched from the patterned papers.
The die frame is a sizzix and I inked it with the Walnut Stain and then used my brown journal pen to do some stitching around the edge. The rub-on is by Kaisercraft - Dreams pack.

On the shelf front I used the Thickers letters again and they were the perfect size to fit on it. They went so well with the color of the flowers and the butterflies.

As always I hope you have enjoyed my post and will call again.
Hugs and Happy Crafting xxx

Cards x 4

Hello crafty lovers and welcome as always to my blog. Tonight I would like to show you some cards I have made for my design position over at Scrapbooking & Keepsakes. I have four to show you from two different paper design packs.
The first two I would like to show you are from Our Daily Bread Designs - Blushing Rose Collection. This pack consists of 24 designer papers 6x6, 2 sheets of each design. All four cards were created on Couture Creations Cards.

CARD 1

I have placed the patterned papers on a Couture Creations Card. The thank you tag is fussy cut from the papers and I have used a butterfly punch. The paper flowers are from the store. The rest is just the beautiful papers and it creates a clean and simple card with beauty.

CARD 2

The flowers in the top corner have been fussy cut and placed over the same ones on the second sheet. The Happy Birthday is a WOW chippie and I covered it with Distress crackle paint - Worn Lipstick and then placed a little white paint over it. I inked the edges of the patterned paper behind the Happy Birthday with Distress Ink - Aged Mahogany.

The second two card I would like to show you have been created using Our Daily Bread Designs - Rustic Beauty Collection

CARD 3

The paper flowers I used are just beautiful, they are mauve (Large) and the smaller are purple (they look blue in the photo - sorry - but they are purple). The butterfly is a stamp by Hot Off The Press Stamps - Artful Collection and then fussy cut. The ink for the Butterfly is Distress Ink - Seedless Preserves which I also used to ink the edges of the patterned papers. Again the Happy Birthday is a chippie by WOW and it is a set of 8. I inked it with the Seedless Preserves twice and then I coated with Glossy Accents.

CARD 4

The flowers in the top left corner have been fussy cut from the second sheet of paper and raised up over the top. I also fussy cut some and placed them over the die frame. I used Distress Ink - Seedless Preserves to ink the edge of the Memory Box ornate frame. In the center of the flowers I placed some Kindy Glitz - Rainbow.

Thank you so much for joining me again on my blog and having a look at my work. I love having you call over. Please leave a comment so I know you have been and I look forward to seeing you again. Happy crafting till my next post stay safe. Hugs xxx

Memories

Hello crafty friends and welcome to my blog. Today I would like to bring to you a layout I created for my DT position over at Scrapbooking & Keepsakes

The beautiful patterned papers I used to create this layout are by Bella! - Bloom range. They are beautiful double sided 12 x 12 papers and as you would all know, purple is my favorite color.

The photo is a selfie taken when my beautiful mum was in hospital this month. I built the photos up with the patterned papers and I placed some lace across the bottom of it and a brass heart in the corner.
Please don't forget that all the products you see are available through the online store or you can call in to the store at the Harold St Shopping Center, Wendouree.

I used a beautiful TCW - Mini Damask 6x6 Stencil/Mask on my background with texture paste and  also with just Distress Ink - Aged Mahogany. I also used some of the kit matching buttons on the layout which come in different sizes around the flowers. The paper rose white flowers are in store and on line and I used some Distress Ink - Seedless Preserves on the edges to bend them in with the papers a little more. I did the same with the cream small roses. I have used a white and black journal pen to do squiggly lines around the the layout.

The ornate frame is chippie chippie from a tag set by Memory Maze - Fancy Tags large sheet and it has 7 tags on it each a different design. I painted it white and then used a grey ink very lightly, then Distress Ink - Seedless Preserves lightly as well.  The large flower I have coming out from behind the photo and the one smaller over the corner I fussy cut from the patterned papers.

I hope you have all enjoyed my layout and until my next post happy crafting xxx

Cherish

Welcome crafty friends to my blog and my latest DT layout for Let's Capture Our Memories. As you all know I do love the sketch challenges and if you are like me then this is a great place to join in and have some fun with awesome sketches.
This layout is of my little family on our holiday to Queensland. Below is the sketch.

Now for my take on the sketch.

The beautiful papers I chose for this layout are by Graphic 45 - Place In Time. They are such beautiful papers. The ink I decided on to ink around the edge of the papers is Distress Ink - Faded Jeans. The leaf die is by Memory Box - Fresh Foliage.

The flowers I used are by Petaloo - Botanica Collection (Peach) and Darjeeling Collection (Teastained Spice). I used cream cardstock and Sizzix die to make my label. I edge stitched it with my black journal pen and used a Kaisercraft Rub-on - After Five Collection Quote.

The title is made out of the patterned papers using a Sizzix Ornate Lable Die and a Kaisercraft rub-on Cherish word.

The beautiful butterflies were fussy cut from Graphic 45 patterned papers - Old Curiosity Shoppe.

The little photo at the bottom is of my two very handsome young sons Riley and Harley. These two boys are my whole life. I loved this little photo at the bottom of the sketch.

I hope you have enjoyed my layout and thank you so much for stopping over. Until my next post happy crafting and always remember to tell those you love that you do.

Queensland

Hello crafty friends and welcome to my blog and DT post for Let's Capture Our Memories. I enjoyed doing this layour of our holiday to Queensland. It is of just one thing we went to do but such a fun thing. It was the feeding of the pelicans. Both the boys got to swim with the pelicans and then join in with the feeding of them.

As always with Let's Capture Our Memories you get to wok with a sketch if you are joining in the fun. The sketch above I thought was great to do a clean and simple layout and this is what I have done below.

The patterned papers I used are by Authentique - Harmony range and the stencil I used is Mini Swiss Dot by TCW. I used texture paste with the stencil and when it was dry I inked it with Distress Ink - Mustard Seed. I then went around the edge of them with my journal pen. The title chippie, Queensland is by Scraptopia. I used Kaisercraft Fusion - Y07 Yellow and then went over that with Glossy Accents.

I went around the edge of the patterned papers with Distress Ink - Black Soot and the photos with Jet Black Stazon Ink. The flowers and birds were fussy cut from patterned papers. The two pelicans I fussy cut from my photos.

As always thank you for calling over. I hope you like my clean and simple layout and that you have time to also call to the Let's Capture Our Memories blog and see what the other DT girls have been up to and maybe join in the fun.

Happy Crafting
