Once Apon A Time

Welcome to my blog as always. I feel like I'm so behind on my posts at the moment. I have been away to Warrnambool for the Treasure Forever Retreat and then to Harrietville for the Scrapbookit Retreat. Both retreats were so much fun and it was wonderful catching up with fellow DT ladies and some wonderful old friends and making some new ones. But for now it is time to settle back into things  and catch up on my blog work.

I would like to show you a layout I did for a friends daughter Hayley. She dressed a a witch and I just loved the photos. She looked so good. I have entered this LO in the challenge over at "Lasting Memories" blog and the challenge theme I have entered into is Halloween.

The papers are G45 and are just perfect for Halloween layouts. They are from the "An Eerie Tale Collection" and are great for fussy cutting.

The only other two things I used on this layout were Distress Ink - Black Soot which inked the edges of my patterned papers and Prima Color Bloom Spray Mist - Vintage Coal which I sprayed on the background papers.

I hope you have enjoyed my Halloween layout and seeing Hayley dressed as a witch.....so scary NOT.
I would love to know what you think so please leave a comment so I know you called.

Cute Smile

Hello to all my wonderful crafty friends. I'm here today on my blog to show my my latest DT creation over at Let's Capture Our Memories Blog. As always we have a sketch and I just loved this one. Please hop on over and check out the challenge and what my fellow DT girls have been creating. While there join in the fun. Below is the sketch and then my take on it.

The photos I chose are of my girlfriends daughter, the very cute Miss Meghan. She is such a sweet heart and I just love to scrap her as much as she loves having her photo taken :)

The sprays are Prima Mists- Glistening Waves and Sorbet.

Behind the flowers I used some very pale green hessian and white lace. I have created my layout on white card stock by Kaisercraft and my patterned papers are also from them, the Tropical Punch Collection. Also the clear stamp is by Kaiser - Flutter.

The washi tape is also from Kaisercraft and the ink is Distress Ink - Walnut Stain. I inked around my all my papers with the same ink.

The beautiful flowers are by Prima - Vinetta Songbird and the heart trinket is also by Prima. The Alpha Sickers for my Title are by Kaisercraft.

Well I hope you have liked my layout and please call to the Let's Capture Our Memories blog and join in this awesome sketch challenge.

Forever BeYOUtiful

Hello everyone and what a beautiful day we are having in my part of the world today. The boys are out bike riding, birds are singing and I'm inside with a headache, not long out of bed. I will make this post and lay down again I think.

Today I would like to bring to you my latest DT layout for 123 Challenge Blog. What an awesome challenge this month. I really enjoyed the color of this challenge. I love doing the girly pages, with only boys in this house. I borrow a girlfriends daughter and enjoy scraping them very much. For this challenge I have used a photo of my friends daughter Ebony, taken at a wedding.

When you join in the challenge don't forget to use the three requirements. Below is my take on the challenge using the color Apricot, word Forever and Swirls.

I created my LO on Kaisercraft white Card stock. The patterned paper is G45 - Place in Time and the Music patterned paper behind Ebony is by Webster's. Because I have used a lot of different things on this LO I will list them instead of you having to do lots of reading. :)
