Cradle and Baby Album

Hello all and welcome as always to my blog. Before I start I would
like to show you a photo of my wonderful son Riley and why I have
been busy the last three days.

Riley has just qualified for 5 out of six events for the Victorian
Country  Short Course Championships. Wow I'm one proud Mum.
The medals you see here are are 1st and two 2nds. He also had a
3rd from the day before. Six events and he gets a final qualifing
time and 4 placings. Woohoo, sorry I had to brag I'm so proud.

Now onto my Cradle and Baby Album.

Both the gifts were made using all Kaisercraft Products and you
are able to get all of them through the Scrapbookit Store. It is one
of my DT posts over at the Scrapbookit blog. We have quite a bit
to show and tell over at the blog this month and the challenge is an
awesome one so please go over and have a look and join in the fun.
All the DT girls would love to see you call over and join in.

The papers are from the Pitter Patter collection and for Arthur's
name I used Kaisers Black script and Retro Alpha Rubons. As
by now you all know I like to fussy cut and did quite a bit from
the 12x12 patterned papers. The dummy is from the Kaisercraft
wood flourishes baby pack. I used some twine to attach it to the cradle.

The rattle was also from the baby pack and the inks I used were
White, Lagoon and Island. The flowers are also by Kaisercraft and
are, small and large blooms - Coconut and the Mini blooms - Yellow.

Now for my Baby Album to make my gift set complete.

Kaisers wooden flourishes - Pram, Ornate tinny hearts, Baby
Accessories, Elephant.
Kaisers Inks - Black, Island, Lagoon, White.
Fussy cutting 12x12 patterned papers.
Kaiser stamps - Secret Admirer and Hessian.
Kaisers Rubon - New Born.
Paper doily and Kaisers Pitter Patter Sticker sheet. I used Ribbon
to bind my album together. Once finished all I needed to do was
give my gift and the photos of little Arthur to be added to it by his
ever loving Grandma.

I hope you have enjoyed my latest post and will pop on over to the
Scrapbookit Blog and also the store for anything you may need.

Happy crafting. xx

{Love} is the beauty of the soul.

Hello all and welcome to my blog. This LO has been created
for the challenge over at D-lish Scraps. I loved the colors and
I like doing LO where they are about love. I always have to do
my boys. They are the love of my life.

I didn't have to use the sketch but I loved it. The colors are
great, so combined with the sketch and love I found it so much
fun to do. Below is my take on the challenge.

The patterned papers I chose are by Kaisercraft - Key To My Heart
Collection. They were just the right color. To mount my LO on I
chose Simple Stories Patterned paper. The cute little butterfly's were
cut from G45 papers.

The paper flowers were stunning colors and matched the challenge
and papers perfectly.

The fabric bow is by Dear Lizzy and the ornate corner flourish is
by Scraptopia. Ob this LO I also used a Marthas Stewart boarder
punch and white paint on the corrugated cardboard.

A journal pen for my stitching and some Distress Ink - Black Soot
were also used. As I just love fussy cutting I just had to add the
butterfly's.The title chippie is by Scrap FX.

O'Rileys

Welcome as always to my blog. I would like to bring to you
my DT layout for Let's Capture Our Memories. The beautiful
birds in my photos were taken on our holiday to Queensland
this year.

I love the sketch for this month as it was a challenge for me to.
I don't do a lot of LO's with this many photos. I hope you like my
take and that it inspires you to hop on over and join in.

I created my layout on Kaisercraft white card stock. The patterned
papers are also from Kaisercraft - Storyteller Collection. On the edge
of the patterned papers I used a Fiskars Boarder Punch.

I mounted the photos on black card stock and and on the edges of the
patterned paper I used Distress ink - Black Soot. The B in the middle
is by Scraptopia and I inked it with Versa Color Ink -
Cardinal and the Glossy Accents.

My title is American Thickers. The banner is a Stampin' Up Punch
and twine. I inked the edges and this made the two pieces stand out
a little more.

I used a mix of flowers on this layout, Petaloo, BoBunny and also
Kaisercraft. The Leaves are by Kaiser and the butterflies are resin
ones that I made and then inked.

Family

Hello everyone and as always welcome to my blog.
The post today is for my DT work for Jo at Scrapbookit.
The challenge has been set by Cindy this month and I'm
sure you will like it.

There was plenty of inspiration to get from this mood board
and you were also required to use a stencil so don't forget it :)
if you hop over and join in. Below is what I come up with.

At first glance you may say where is the stencil, but I did use one.
I shall show you a closeup.

Tinny little dots. The stencil is a 6x6 TC - Our Town. It is a great
stencil as it also has little houses, picket fence, lines and a heart on it.
I find it a very versatile stencil.

This wonderful kit i got to use is by Echo Park. They have some very
beautiful kits and Jo has them, yippee. This kit along with most of these
comes with (12) 12x12 patterned double sided papers, 12x12 alphabet
sticker sheet which also has elements and a 12x12 elements sticker sheet.
If you are not one for adding bits and pieces like I do then these kits will
have everything you need to make a beautiful layout.

The wooden bike embellishment is by Kaisercraft. The ink I used
on the edges of my papers is a Distress Ink - Fired Brick. I also used
it on the background along with Kaisercrafts - Lagoon. The
stamp on the background is Kaisercrafts - Arty with Distress inks -
Black Soot and Faded Jeans

The flowers are Manor House. Behind them I used some gaze and
I colored it with the Distress Ink - Fired Brick. The distress inks
have many uses. I also added just a little silky metallic cotton with
the gaze. The cute little red brad hearts were just right for this LO of
my Mum and Dad. They have been married 53 years and still as
inseparable as the  day they married.

Holiday

As always, welcome to my blog and this months first
DT post for Let's Capture Our Memories. As always
it is a sketch,  challenge #79. It will be loads of fun so
please hop on over to the blog and join in the fun.

Now for my take on the challenge and the other DT girls
have done an awesome job of it. I'm sure between them and
hopefully me you will have some inspiration to join in.

These photos were taken on our resent holiday to Queensland.
Australia Zoo was one of the highlights of our trip. We were
very lucky to be able to see the Erwin Family feeding the
Crocodiles. Bindi with her mothers ever watchful eye fed the
largest and oldest Croc at the Zoo. Young Robert with the help
of a Croc keeper fed and held a young Crocodile.

The lovely title I used is by Scraptopia and I inked it with a black
Kaisercraft ink. I inked around all the photos and patterned papers
by Prima with StazOn.

The branch with birds is by Kaisercraft an also inked with black.

The small bird at the corner of the journal is by Kaisercraft and
again inked black. Below, Our Family Holiday is a rub on and
Australia Zoo are Kaiser Mini Sticker alphas.

The birds below have been fussy cut from Kaisercraft patterned
papers - Hunt & Gather Collection.

Happy Birthday

Hello all and welcome to my blog. I would like to show
you a LO today that I did for the challenge over at
For this challenge you had to use triangles on your LO.
I decided to use my triangles on a banner for Harley's
birthday page.

I made this LO using Stampin' Up patterned papers, stamp and
also banner (Triangles for challenge) punch.

The bracket and cakes are from my dies and I decided to do my
journal all the way around the edge. On some of the patterned papers
I used Kaisercrafts white ink and in the circles I did hand stitching
with my journal pen.
