Birthday Card & Just For You Card

This is one of the card that I have made from my scrap
items left out of my Fancy Pants - Down By The Shore
range from Scrapbookit. This is an awesome range. If you
go to Scrapbookit and have a look you will see the LO I
did along with the other work from the DT girls.

The stamp is Kaisercraft and I had my first go at coloring
with my new Copics also from Scrapbookit. The flowers
are hand cut from the range  and the butterfly is punched.
It is a great way to use up some of the left over papers.

My Just For You card is also made from the same range of
papers with added Manor House flowers, washi tape, red paint
and ribbon. Everything is from Scrapbookit Store. Check it out
you will be pleasantly surprised at how much Jo has in her store.
To much to have up so if you cant see it email Jo and she will let
you know. I hope you like these two cards.

I'm also very excited about next months Challenge and the LO I
just finished for it. Like this months challenge, next month will
be great too.

Cherish Every Moment

I made this card for my DT position at Beyond Grey Challenges.
The challenge is Oh So Knotty. The challenge has two parts this
month. The first is it must contain one or more knots. The second
part is the card is to be black and maroon. You may use other colors
such as white, cream etc, but they must be to a minimum.

I chose to place my knot in the hand of the fairy. I thought it made
it look a little like a pearl. The fairy is a lazier cut from Scraptopia.
I inked her so she wasn't white. I then placed  some glitter on her
as all fairy need fairy dust.

The ornate heart is from Kaisercraft and I colored it with a maroon
Copic. Both of these you are able to get from Scrapbookit.  Hand
cutting the bird and the butterfly punch finished it of, and a little
more glitter just to show the fairy had dusted by. :)

Hop on over to Beyond Grey Challenges and join in the fun. We
would love to see you there.

Athlete

This is my latest LO for my DT position at Scrapbookit.
Everything on this layout you are able to get from the Scrapbookit
Store. If you can't see it just ask Jo.  She has some awesome items
but not all are listed. That's what happens when you stock so much.

This collection of papers is from the
Teresa Collins Collection - Sports Edition.

This edition is awesome to use. It covers all sports. It has a something
that will cover it all. The colors in it are great too. They go so well with
most sporting colors. Take a closer look at a my LO and you will see
what I mean.

There is a 12 x 12 doubled sided sheet that on one side has lots
and lots of sport related words in different colors and different
sizes. Awesome. They alone can tell the story.

Ops.....I have been too excited about the papers to tell you about
the pictures that give me my inspiration. This as you can see is
the Cape Clear Primary School. This is where my sons attend
school. When they first started school there were over 40 children.
This year there is 12 and they are all boys. Last year only one girl.
Everything they do is like a family event. Sports against the other
schools is no exception and yes they placed 2nd in the Relay.

To have a look at a couple of closer shots of the papers the please
go to Scrapbookit and check things out. We would love to see you
there. Dont forget to leave a comment. We would love to know
what you  think.

I Believe In Fairies - Guest Designer LO

I did this Lo for my guest design position at About A Boy
For this challenged it was a layout that was white with one.
I know I should have put my boys on this but I didn't have any
pictures of them with the toadstools but they picked the photo they
thought I should do. This layout was done with suggestions from
 both of them.

We had so much fun when we went to take these photos. It had
been raining. Everything was shinny and wet. We laughed so
much talking about fairies. About how we could imagine they
lived among the trees, sheltering under the beautiful toadstools.

My handsome boys may not be in a picture in the LO,
but this layout is all about them. We played together to
get the photo's that day and they picked and helped to
decide so for me this layout is All boy.

About A boy have awesome challenges so pop on over
Join in the challenges and have some fun.

Mothers Day Card

I made this card for my beautiful mother. My mum is a very
beautiful person and the back bone to my family. As sick as
she is, she rarely misses a day coming to our home.  If she
can't come the phone will ring.

My Mum..... She has a beautiful heart. She never speaks ill of
people and can find an excuse for anyone's bad behavior. She
likes everything simple. Never dresses fancy, no makeup, no
bling just a wedding ring. No mess, no flowers in the house
(they make her sick) but in the garden is great. The biggest thing
of all is she loves Riley, Harley and me unconditionally. She
picks us up when we fall, cuddles us when we cry, laughs with us,
and always tells us she loves us even when mad with us.
SHE'S MY MUM

When I made this card I knew straight away it had to be simple.
I knew she would love that. She loves the crops of sunflowers in
the district if anyone has them in when we go anywhere.

This is just what we wanted her to do......take a seat.
Did she.....as much as we could make her. She says she sits enough
and sleeps enough on her bad days. Mothers Day was a good day.

First DT Post for SCRAPBOOKIT

Wow this LO was so much fun. It has been done for the sketch
challenge at Scrapbookit and my first post in my new position.

All the products I have used come from Jo's Scrapbookit on
line store. http://www.scrapbookit.com.au/  Jo has a huge range
of products just like these ones and this layout and many more.
Way too many for her on line store..... so if you want something
and don't see it just ask her. You will be surprised I'm sure by
the answer she gives you. Everything I have asked for she has had.

This is the Sketch LO so please pop onto the blog. Check out
the couple of extra requirements and join in. Leave a comment
and follow Jo's blog just like you do mine. Let us girls know you
have been because we would love to hear from you.

Guest Design Position

This is the LO I submitted for my position as Guest Designer for
They have awesome boy challenges and as you can see my boys
are that.....Boys all the way lol. The water smelt, not only did the
mud make them black but so did the water. They loved it though.

With these close ups you will be able to see by Harley's  bright
orange shirt what the water was like. They didn't care though.
They had a ball and I must admit it was fun to watch them. All
of it was fun till they had to be showed and we were no longer
in the open and could smell the truth behind the fun.

Oh and yes not forgetting the gum boots. They were nice and full
and many a time they would go splat down because the had their
feet bogged in the mud. The socks found the bin. A mum has to
draw a line some times.

BUT.....Boys Will Be Boys.....LOL

Ladies of the Manor Retreat

My beautiful friend Karen Shady (from across a couple
of paddocks lol)  and the lovely Stacey Apps are going
to be having a wonderful retreat in October.

I can assure you it will be a time to remember. I know
their passion and love of scrap booking and it will make
for the perfect retreat.

Karen was my inspiration for my scrap booking and got me
started on the path I'm on. She is on some very amazing design
teams and Manor House flowers adorn her work.

Put these two awesome women together along with the other
talent they will have there and you will go away from the retreat
wishing it didn't have to end.

Happy Birthday

I made this card for my DT position and Beyond Grey Challenges.
The challenge for this month for your project is to use the colors
from a photo of watermelon and mango.

I have used card stock, Creative memories patterned paper and
sticker tag, American Crafts layered paper flowers and Kaiser
wooden flourish hearts which I colored with copic pen RV34.
The same color was used on the chippy bird from craft works
and on the cage I used Y17. The other tings I used were my
Martha Stewart Punch and red 3D puffy paint.

Number Cards

I love doing these cards. They are nice to do for a change while
watching TV with the boys. These 3D Birthday cards you can
get from Scraptopia on facebook (who I design for). Kylie has a
huge range to choose from.

It is as simple as a cutting knife, dimension tabs and card stock.
Wella.....You end up with beautiful cards like these. There is also
nothing stopping you from adding some extra bling if you want.
